Creating a Focal Point in a Room
Whether it is your living room or study room or lounge area, it is important to create a focul point in a room. A Focul point is the main feature of the room upon which the eyes can rest on when one enters the room. The bed in the bedroom and the dining table in dining room are usually the most common focal point in those rooms.
In other rooms, it is important to create one such focal point. It may be the visage from a large window, or a fireplace. If these are not an option, you can use a large painting, oriental rug or a large open shelf that can be used to display interesting items.
