Kitchen Garden in your Kitchen
Just because you live in an apartment does not mean you have to be deprived of the pleasures of gardening. More and more apartment dwellers these days are starting their own kitchen garden…in the kitchen. As long as you have a window sill or a counter top running along a window, you can grow your own little kitchen garden. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get direct sunlight, as long as the kitchen gets bright daylight.
All you need to do is choose plants that are suitable for the amount of light your kitchen gets. Get plant pots that are the correct sizes for the plants you are growing. Herbs are easy to grow in pots or window boxes. If you want the more exotic types, try the one’s that are used in Asian cooking like Coriander or Green Chillies. You can also try to grow Cherry Tomatoes or Fennel. You have multiple options open to you.
